DIANA HINOJOSA ROSALES

Founding Partner - Criminal Defense Attorney and Criminologist

Diana Hinojosa Rosales is a criminal defense attorney and criminologist who has been a member of the Málaga Bar Association since 1999. She is a founding partner and head of her own law firm, where she works alongside a multidisciplinary team specializing in various areas of law.

He has extensive experience in criminal and correctional law, having represented clients in particularly complex and high-profile cases, such as the “Minutas,” “Malaya,” “Operation Nilo,” “Langostino,” and “Operation Green Gold” cases. He has also served as defense counsel for several Marbella City Council members accused of crimes related to land-use planning.

For ten years, he served as defense counsel for Julián Muñoz Palomo, the former councilman and former mayor of Marbella, assisting with the management of his incarceration, securing his first temporary releases, his progression to the third security level, and his subsequent release, as well as the consolidation of his sentences until he was finally released. His work was chronicled by Julián Muñoz himself in his book *La cruda realidad*.

He has also appeared before the National Court, the Supreme Court, and numerous Spanish courts and tribunals in proceedings related to, among other matters, extraditions, counterfeiting, and drug trafficking.

In addition to her specialization in criminal law, she has extensive experience in civil and family law, particularly in complex separations and divorces, custody and guardianship, modifications of court orders, the dissolution of community property, inheritances, evictions, leases, and banking and civil claims, as a partner at the law firm Lazarraga & Hinojosa.

She also advises Spanish and foreign nationals on the purchase and sale of real estate and has developed a significant practice in immigration law. Since 2000, she has advised and represented numerous foreign nationals in obtaining and renewing residence and work permits, non-lucrative residence authorizations, family reunification, Spanish citizenship, proof of ties to Spain, and permits for international remote workers or digital nomads.

He has professional experience in London and training in advanced legal English. He speaks English and German, which enables him to advise and represent foreign clients, including British citizens and German speakers, as well as to handle cases with an international component.

With more than 30 years of uninterrupted practice as an attorney, Pablo Lazarraga Assiego is a lawyer with proven technical expertise, strategic litigation vision, and a track record of successfully advising and representing individuals, companies, and homeowners’ associations.

He began his professional career at a prestigious law firm in Málaga specializing in family law. Building on this solid foundation, he established his own independent firm and later spearheaded the strategic merger that formed Lazarraga & Hinojosa Abogados, designed to offer comprehensive, personalized, and highly efficient legal services.
